Grass Guys Services
Included in the Standard Mowing Service:
• Mowing of the grass with a professional rotary mower.
• Edging of the grass. Edging is done with a line trimmer to cut and detail areas the mower cannot.
• Blowing off the driveway, patios and sidewalks of grass clippings. This does not include blowing out rock areas.
• Fertilizing the lawn throughout the year. We use top grade fertilizers at ideal times.
Size of lawn Price Estimate (2 services/mo for biweekly and 4 services/mo for weekly) ~ Since we bill monthly, there are additional charges applied to months when there are 3 services for biweekly and 5 services for weekly
0001-500 sq.ft. $50.00 per month (biweekly) / $60.00 per month (weekly)
0501-1000 sq. ft. $60.00 per month (biweekly) / $80.00 per month (weekly)
1001-1500 sq.ft. $70.00 per month (biweekly) / $100.00 per month (weekly)
1501-2000 sq.ft. $80.00 per month (biweekly) / $120.00 per month (weekly)
These are just approximations. The monthly maintenance charge is dependent upon the size and complexity of your lawn. Highly complex lawns may add to your square footage. An example of a complex lawn may be one with a playground in the grass, several patches to mow or lots of landscaping to go around.
***Call for pricing on larger or unique yards. We will always perform a free estimate to determine the exact price for your yard.

Optional Services and Upgrades
Grass Haul
If you would like us to dispose of the lawn clippings rather than leaving them we charge a $5 per month disposal fee for yards under 1000 sf and $10 per month for yards up to 2000 sf, call for pricing on other size yards. Otherwise we will put the grass clippings in a bag and place them in your trash can or by the back gate if a trash can is not accessible.
Weed Spray Service
We spray all weeds in the ROCK & concrete areas with a top of the line weed killer best suited for the season. This does not include pulling weeds or weeds in the grass.
This service is monthly and offered at cost, which is dependent on the size of the rock area to be treated. The first month is considered a start up month to get the weeds under control with every continuing month being HALF the price of the start up month to maintain.
Winter lawn installation.
In the Phoenix metropolitan area there are two main types of grass, Bermuda, and Rye. Bermuda comes in many different types and hybrids and needs lots of heat and sun to grow making it great for Arizona summers. However, Bermuda goes dormant in the winter months ironically when the rest of us come outside to enjoy the great Arizona winters. At this time the rye grass is planted after prepping the lawn and grows throughout the winter providing a very nice deep green soft grass more familiar to those of you from the mid-west or northern areas. This grass dies out the following summer as the Bermuda comes out of dormancy in mid March-April, (an almost unnoticeable, natural transition). The rye will live though most of the summer however in areas the Bermuda will not live, shady areas under a tree for instance, helping keep your total lawn green and lush. Another benefit to planting rye is that the prep work needed to install the rye is great for the Bermuda the following spring and also helps keep the weeds down over the winter months as well as using about 1/4 of the water as in the summer.
We base our pricing on the size of your lawn and offer discounts bringing it down to our cost for customers taking service!
